4.3 magnitude earthquake hits Assam and other parts of NE
Guwahati/IBNS: A 4.3 magnitude earthquake jolted Assam and other parts of the Northeastern region on Thursday evening.
There is no report of any casualty or damage in the earthquake so far.
According to the reports, the tremors were felt in Guwahati and other parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and adjoining areas of northeastern region at about 7:42 pm.
The quake had its epicentre at 55 WSW of Guwahati in Assam.
