New Delhi, Dec 16 (IBNS): A 20-year-old woman was allegedly raped in the national capital late on Thursday night by a man posing as a cab driver, reports said.

Police have arrested the accused and seized his car.

Police was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times that the victim was waiting for a bus outside AIIMS when the accused offered her a lift.

The accused later drove the car around the city for over two hours before assaulting the woman sexually after locking all the doors of the car in a secluded place in Moti Bagh. The driver also threatened to kill her but she managed to escape and reach the police patrol on the main street, said reports.

Following his arrest, the accused identified as Aman, broke down and confessed to the crime.
