100 injured in South Kashmir clashes
According to reports, massive clashes erupted after forces tried to foil the rally called by people in Pinjura village of Shopian District.
Hospital sources said, over 100 injured youths were brought to hospital for the advanced treatment.
Sources further said, 12 injured have been referred to Srinagar from the district hospital in Shopian for treatment.
While the clashes were going on, the protesters set ablaze the newly-inaugurated building of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Shopian.
The all-party delegation from 20 parties aims to find a solution to the Kashmir’s current cycle of violence that was triggered by the death of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani.
The Valley witnessed 56 days of harsh curfew during which 73 people have lost their lives and thousands have been injured in the protests that followed the encounter on July 8.
State CM Mehbooba Muft has invited leaders of separatist group Hurriyat Conference for talks with an all-party delegation
The letter by Mehbooba Mufti however has been sent to Hurriyat not in her capacity as the chief minister but as party president of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
