A cultural event was recently hosted in Jammu and Kashmir's Bhatni village on Sunday to mark the 15th anniversary of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.

Speaking on the occasion, Harveer Singh highly acclaimed the programme and complimented the efforts of Pir Panchal for holding such camps in far-off regions in Jammu & Kashmir and promoting and propagating local culture, language, music, dance besides giving the sense of belonging to the people, reported Daily Excelsior.

He said there are a lot of challenges for the youth like drug abuse and antisocial elements.

This cultural camp will help to educate the youth and encourage them to live a better and dignified life, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Hangloo president, Pir Panchal a Cultural, Educational, Social, Environmental and Sports Organisation (CESES) asked the youth of the UT to be vigilant against anti-national elements.

“Although the situation in the UT has remarkably improved but our vigilant behavior will always help us to identify the inimical forces," he said.
