Udaipur: The grand wedding of Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha took place on Sunday at the posh Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The groom, Raghav Chadha, led his baaraat to the Leela Palace venue by boat, according to media reports.

The boat was beautifully adorned with white flowers and draped with curtains.

On the bride's side, this morning, Parineeti Chopra's close friend and tennis star Sania Mirza, as well as fashion designer Manish Malhotra (who designed Parineeti's bridal attire), arrived at Udaipur airport.

Among the political colleagues of Raghav Chadha, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra are also in attendance at the wedding.

Shive Sena Bala Saheb leader Aditya Thackeray also attended the wedding and wished the couple a happy married life.

Apparently, Raghav Chadha picked up a white sherwani for his wedding with Parineeti Chopra. The photographers were able to click him from far away, dressed in regal apparel, even as best were made to hide his appearance with huge umbrellas.

The wedding was preceded by Raghav’s ‘Sehrabandi’ and Parineeti’s ‘Chuda’ ceremonies, essential parts of a typical Punjabi wedding.

Special care has been taken to enhance the grandeur and sublimity of the regal environs of Leela Palace with flowers from Kolkata and Delhi, said reports.
