Sonia Gandhi admitted to Delhi hospital, condition stable: Reports

New Delhi/IBNS: Congress top leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to a hospital in the national capital Delhi with mild fever, several reports have stated.

Sonia, who is Congress' parliamentary party chairperson, is admitted to Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Her health is stable.

Sonia was admitted to hospital twice in 2023 with ailments.

She suffered from a viral respiratory infection in January while was admitted to the hospital with fever in March.

Sonia, who is the pivot of Congress, last week attended the opposition alliance INDIA's two-day meeting in Mumbai.

Over 20 opposition parties have joined hands to form INDIA to stop the Modi juggernaut in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, which will give Prime Minister Narendra Modi an opportunity to win for the third straight term.
