Haryana: Jalandhar girl raped in Kaithal

Kaithal: After striking up a friendship over phone, a jeweler from Siwan took a Jalandhar girl to a hotel here in Haryana and raped her, police said.

The girl had come to her sister's in-law's house from Jalandhar.

The police have registered a case of rape against the jeweller.

Women's police station performed her counseling after a medical examination.

On Sunday, the statement of the victim girl was recorded in the court.

A few days ago, the girl had come to Siwan to visit her relatives. she went to a jewellery shop in Siwan with her sister.

While showing the jewellery, the jeweller Sahil gave her his phone number.

After that they started talking to each other and she returned to her home Town Jalandhar.

Sahila and the girl continued to converse over phone, and she again came to Siwan from Jalandhar to her sister's house on March 1. The next day, Sahil brought her with him to a hotel in Kaithal on the pretext of dining and raped her.

Women's Police station in-charge Nanhi Devi said that on the complaint of the girl, a case of rape has been registered against the accused Sahil And he will be arrested soon.
