Maharashtra: Six students drown in Raigad

Aurangabad/UNI: Six Students, who went for a trip along with teachers, were drowned in the Kashid Beach in Raigad district .

Fortunately, four students have been able to get out of them and the rest of two lost their lives ,reports said .

The trip to Saneguruji Vidyalaya in Kannada taluka of Aurangabad district went to Kashid Beach in Raigad.

There were 5 teachers along with 70 students. The unfortunate incident took place in the Kashid Sea at Murud Janjira.

According to the information received here , six students had gone into the deep sea. Out of them four students were rescued, one drowned and one is missing.

The drowned students are undergoing treatment at Alibaug District Hospital.

The name of the dead student is said to be Pranav Kadam, while Rohan Bedwal is missing and Saili Rathod, Krishna Patil, Tushar Wagh, Rohan Mahajan are in stable condition.

It is said that this incident happened due to the unpredictability of water in the sea.
