TV actor Tunisha Sharma suicide: Co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan arrested

Mumbai/IBNS: A day after television actor Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on the set of a show in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district, her co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan was arrested Sunday, the police said.

He has been arrested on charges of abetment to suicide in the Tunisha Sharma case.

According to reports, the 20-year-old actor locked herself up in the makeup room of Sheezan Mohammed Khan, while he was away for his shot.

After returning, when he couldn’t open the door and Tunisha did not respond despite repeated calls, the door was broken.

The shooting crew of the show- Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul took her to a hospital at around 1:30 am, where she was declared dead.

Tunisha would have turned 21 on January 24.

The young actor was a popular face on television. She started her journey as a child actor and shared the screen with stars like Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan.

In her debut role, she played the younger Katrina Kaif in Fitoor and later in Baar Baar Dekho, too, she portrayed the younger Katrina Kaif.

In Kahaani 2, she featured with Vidya Balan

She was part of television shows like Internet Wala Love, Ishq Subhallah, Gayab, and Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
