Assam Rifles organizes interaction with President of India

Ukhrul: Shangshak Battalion, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), organised an interaction of students from Shangshak, Ukhrul District of Manipur with the President of India on Dec 23.

The event was conducted as part of ongoing National Integration Tour to provide opportunities to the local students for meeting eminent  dignitaries, visit places and insititutions of National and historical importance.

Total of 27 Students (11 Male And 16 Female) along with two local teachers of seven schools from Shangshak and nearby areas are participating in the NIT.

Students respresenting their schools were delighted after interacting with the President of India.

The event provided an opportunity and unprecedented exposure for local students to broaden their horizon and understanding of own country and countrymen.
