Hyderabad/UNI: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday filed a chargesheet before the NIA special Court at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh against five accused persons in a case related to the radicalisation and recruitment of innocent youth to the CPI (Maoist) cadres, a proscribed organisation.

A NIA release on Tuesday said the case was initially registered by Peddabayalu police station of Visakhapatnam vide Cr.No 01/2022 and was later re-registered by NIA as RC-02/2022/NIA/Hyderabad on 03.06.2022.

The case was registered based on the complaint filed regarding the recruitment of one Radha to the cadres of CPI(Maoist).

The allegation in the complaint indicated that the accused persons Dongari Devendra, Dubasi Swapna and Chukka Shilpa motivated Radha to join the Chaitanya Mahila Sangham (CMS) and subsequently radicalised and recruited her to the proscribed organisation, CPI (Maoist), under the leadership of underground Maoists, RK (Since deceased) Uday, Aruna, the release said.
