Madhya Pradesh: Five die in road mishap in Ratlam

Ratlam: At least five persons died and approximately a dozen were injured – some of them critically – when an Indore-Ratlam truck veered out of control, after a tyre burst on Sunday.

The vehicle mowed down people awaiting a bus beside the Mhow-Neemuch four-lane road in the vicinity of Satrunda Phate about 25 km from here in Bilpank Police Station limits, law-enforcement authorities said quoting preliminary reports, reports UNI.

The accident occurred at roughly 1700 hrs.

The hitherto-unidentified victims were rushed to the district infirmary here where five were pronounced dead.
