Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha meets Narendra Modi, briefs about recommendations for holistic development of agriculture, allied sectors

New Delhi:  Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sharing an image of the meeting, PMO India tweeted: " Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri @manojsinha_called on PM."

Sinha said during his meeting with the PM he briefed him about the recommendations of Apex Committee on 'holistic development of Agriculture & Allied Sectors' for raising farmer's income and time-bound implementation of reforms to boost agriculture exports, creation of modern infrastructure and value chains.

Presenting a gift to the PM, the official Twitter page of the LG said: " A special gift of gratitude to Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji from people of J&K. In ancient Indian tradition Saffron is referred as 'Bahukam'. As harvest festivity draws near, symbol of joy & light GI tagged exquisite & enchanting produce is ready to be delivered globally. "
