Indian army chopper crashes in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district

Itanagar: An Indian army ALH chopper crashed in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district on Friday.

The incident took place near singging village, 25 km away from Tuting headquarter in the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Guwahati based Defence PRO said that, the chopper took off from Likabali area.

The Upper Siang district administration, Indian army and Indian Air Force have jointly launched search and rescue operations in the remote hills area.

"2 Army ALH and one IAF MI-17 have been engaged in search & rescue operations," the Defence PRO said.
