New Delhi: Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi was questioned for six hours on Thursday by the Economic Offences Wings (EOW) of the Delhi Police in connection with an extortion case linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a day after actor Jacqueline Fernandez's interrogation for nearly eight hours in the same case.

Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been named by the ED in its chargesheet in the case, was questioned for nearly 8 hours in the office of the Economic Offences Wing.

ED, which is probing the money trail in the case, filed the chargesheet last month.

Pinky Irani, who was allegedly paid in crores to introduce Jacqueline to conman Sukesh, was also questioned on Wednesday.

However, the EOW found some inconsistencies between Pinky and Jacqueline's responses, and both of them will be questioned again, the police said, according to the media reports.

It was also said that there was no direct link between Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez in this case but the police want to question Pinky Irani and Nora Fatehi together.

The ED has accused  Jacqueline of being aware that Chandrashekhar was involved in extortion and cheating.

The agency has said the actor overlooked his criminal activities and illegal source of his money and continued to indulge in financial transactions with him.

According to media reports, Jacqueline Fernandez admitted to receiving five watches, 20 pieces of jewellery, 65 pairs of shoes, 47 dresses, 32 bags, 4 Hermes bags, nine paintings and one Versace crockery set as gifts from the conman, according to the chargesheet.
