ED summon to Sonia-Rahul: Aurangabad youth Congress stages protest against Modi govt

| @indiablooms | Jun 03, 2022, at 01:16 am

Aurangabad/UNI: The activists of the district and city unit of Youth Congress on Thursday held a protest demonstration against the Narendra Modi-led central government for issuing ED notices to party president Sonia Gandhi and top leader Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case.

Led by district Youth Congress president Varun Patrikar and Saroj Maslage-Patil, the protesters raised a number of slogans against the Modi government in favour of their party leaders.

Later, they alleged that for the last eight years, the BJP-led central government has constantly been trying to suppress the voice of the opposition party leaders in the country by using various central agencies whenever they talked about the failures of the central government.

This comes after the ED issued notices to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case on Wednesday.
