Mumbai/IBNS: A Mumbai court Wednesday granted bail to Independent MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana, who were arrested for declaring that they would recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's residence, media reports said.

They were arrested hours after cancelling the plan to recite Hanuman Chalisa.

A case was registered against the couple under Section 153 (a).

Meanwhile, both Navneet and Ravi Rana had also lodged a complaint against Thackeray, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, Minister Anil Parab and 500 Shiv Sena workers for reaching their house forcefully this afternoon.

The couple had lodged a complaint accusing them of inciting them to attack out of political revenge.
