Assam Rifles apprehend two PLA terrorists in Manipur
Guwahati: In two separate operations with Manipur Police, Keithelmanbi and Loktak Battalions of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) apprehended two PLA terrorists in Imphal, Manipur.
Based on specific intelligence, troops of Assam Rifles, along with Manipur Police, launched these operations leading to these apprehensions.
One 9mm Pistol and two live rounds were recovered from one of the apprehended terrorists.
The apprehended terrorists, along with recovered items, were handed over to Irilbung and Mayang Imphal Police Station for further investigation.
