Jammu and Kashmir: JeM commander Yasir Parray killed during Pulwama encounter

Srinagar: Two key terrorists were killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama region on Wednesday, police said.

Police identified the slain terrorists as Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Yasir Parray and IED expert and foreign terrorist Furqan.

Police said a gunfight erupted at Qasbayar village in Rajpur Pulwama when the joint of team of security forces launched a search operation in the area following an input about the presence of militant in the area.

"#PulwamaEncounterUpdate: #Terrorist commander of proscribed #terror outfit JeM Yasir Parray, an IED Expert & foreign terrorist Furqan #neutralised. Both were involved in several terror #crime cases. A big #success: IGP Kashmir," Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

Police has termed the killing of the Jaish commander Yasir Parray, an IED expert and Furqan, a foreign militant as a "big success."
