Day after meeting Mamata, Subramanian Swamy finds Modi govt failure

New Delhi/IBNS: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Subramanian Swamy on Thursday slammed the Modi government for its supposed failure in all aspects, a day after he called on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee here.

In a tweet, Swamy said, "Modi Government's Report Card: Economy---FAIL Border Security--FAIL Foreign Policy --Afghanistan Fiasco National Security ---Pegasus NSO Internal Security---Kashmir Gloom Who is responsible?--Subramanian Swamy."

Swamy, who was often vocal against his own party, is speculated to join Banerjee's Trinamool Congress (TMC) though that didn't happen on Wednesday.

However, the Rajya Sabha MP heaped praises upon Banerjee, who is one of the strongest adversaries of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP in the country.

Though he turned down any possibility of joining Banerjee's party which has a solid ground in West Bengal,  Swamy called the Chief Minister 'a rare quality'. 

"Of the all the politicians I have met or worked with, Mamata Banerjee ranks with JP, Morarji Desai, Rajiv Gandhi, Chandrashekhar, and P V Narasimha Rao who meant what they said and said what they meant. In Indian politics that is a rare quality," he tweeted.
