Uddhav Thackeray Uddhav Thackeray undergoes successful neck surgery
Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray underwent a successful neck surgery at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital, Shiv Sena Chief Spokesperson Sanjay Raut said here on Friday.
As per statement from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) quoting two doctors of the hospital - Ajit Desai and Shekhar Bhojraj- Thackery has been moved to a ward after his surgery.
"The doctors said he was stable during the surgery and has been doing well," the statement said.
In an abrupt move, Thackeray was admitted to the hospital late on Wednesday, a couple of days after he appeared in an online public event wearing a neck brace.
