Pakistani terrorist arrested from Delhi

New Delhi/UNI: A Pakistani terrorist, residing here in disguise of an Indian national, has been arrested from an East Delhi locality, police said Tuesday.

An AK 47 rifle and ammunition was recovered from him, police added.

The police identified him as Mohd. Ashraf alias Ali, a resident of Pakistan’s Punjab area.

He was living in Delhi’s Shastri Nagar with a fake identity as Indian national by the name Ali Ahmed Noori and had obtained Indian identity cards through forged documents, said Delhi Police’s Special Cell, the anti-terrorist unit of the force which carried out the operation.

Delhi Police raided his residence and recovered AK 47 and several other arms at his instance.

Mohd. Asraf has been arrested under relevant provisions of the UA(P) Act, Explosive Act, Arms Act, said police.
