New Delhi/IBNS: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested two terrorists, linked to Pakistan's ISI, with 1.5 kg RDX, according to media reports.

The arrests were made on Tuesday in a raid and six operatives of Pakistan organised terror module were also held.

They were planning to carry out explosions on bridges, railway tracks and large gatherings in India, NDTV reported citing sources.

"Such a large quantity of RDX is enough for wide-scale destruction," officials aware of the investigation were quoted as saying by NDTV.

The report said that the sources said the arrested terrorist running a terror module and the role of the sleeper cell emerged during interrogation.

The two arrested terrorists - Zeeshan and Osama - told officials that they entered Pakistan through Gwadar Port via sea route. They reached Pakistan from Oman using a motorboat.

The investigations have revealed that the planning was similar to the 1993 Mumbai blasts as people from different locations were supposed to meet after conducting rece in different places.

At least 15 Bengali-speaking persons were also trained by ISI in a farmhouse in a town named Jioni near Gwadar port along with the two arrested terrorists, sources said.

Police suspect the Bengali-speaking persons are from West Bengal.

A team from Maharashtra ATS has come to Delhi to meet Special Cell officers and the joint interrogation of the suspects is likely, the report said citing the officials.
