CBOA extends help to flood affected employees

Srinagar, Jan 14 (IBNS) Canara Bank Officers Association (CBOA) held a brief function at Srinagar for the flood affected employees.

G V Manimaran, General Secretary, CBOA graced the occasion and distributed relief cheques to the employee.

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that in the time of great calamity, entire country has sympathized with the plight and suffering of people of Kashmir.

He further said that CBOA has a rich tradition of helping the cause of employees at large.

In month of September last year, Jammu and Kashmir witnesses fury of the nature that is worst since 1957, claiming 460 while hundreds were injured and thousands of families lost there homes due to heavy flood.

The function was organized by Sheikh Aaqib, District Secretary, CBOA, Kashmir.

While welcoming Anurag Prakash, Cheif Manager, Canara Bank praised the yeoman services of CBOA and thanked the initiatives of G V Manimaran.

SP Singh , Dy. Gen Sec, CBOA and Juneja emphasized the role of CBOA in the development of employees at large.

Proposing the vote of thanks, Naaranjan Singh, Sr Manager and Nisar Ahmad  Dar, Chairman J&K State Committe , CBEU extend the gratitude CBOA.

The meeting was attended by M N Doley, Sr Manager and Tanveer Ah Khan, Manager among other employees of Kashmir region.
