Hatras/UNI: After Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath alleged conspiracy of triggering caste clash on the backdrop of the Hatras dalit girl rape and murder incident, an FIR has been registered against unknown person at Chandapa police station here.

The police said the FIR was registered on Sunday against unknown persons and cases were lodged under 19 stringent sections of the IPC  and one of the IT Act.

The cases were filed under a conspiracy to defame the government, spread caste and communal hatred, spread of anarchy, spread of rumour, misleading the family of the victim's family, publication of fake photos and information to spread hatred in the society.

The FIR has been registered under various sections of the CrPC and under an IT Act.

Meanwhile ,the state government has sent its recommendation to  the Union Home ministry for the CBI probe into the Hatras incident though the Special Investigation Team(SIT) continued its probe to find out the people involved behind the girl's killing and other issues.

The SIT team on Monday visited the Aligarh jail and met the four accused who are lodged there . The team took their statements and interrogated them briefly .

ADG ( Law and Order) Prashant Kumar confirmed that there was an attempt to create a caste and communal frenzy in UP over the Hatras incident, as the victim belonged to the Dalit community.  He said the investigating agencies suspect a conspiracy involving the Popular Front of India (PFI), the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) and mafias targeting the government  in this regard to create chaos in the state.

" These people  issued fake photo of CM with a screenshot of a TV news channel writing breaking news to confuse the people besides also issued a fake statement of the CM," he added.

The police officer said a website was also found which had instigated the people for caste clash and even suggested ways how to save themselves from police action. These websites were made out of the country and even funded the people who  were their active members.

Police has found a website," justiceforhathrasvictim.carrd.co', which was involved in the conspiracy and even foreign funds were received to carry on the campaigning. But when the government found out the conspiracy, the website was immediately closed.

"Specific evidence indicating the role of the organizations that were involved in the CAA violence were also found by the agencies, as per sources. It is also said other elements affected by UP Chief Minister's action to display posters of those inciting violence may have been involved in hatching what they are alleging is a conspiracy in Hatras," sources said.

During the investigation it was found that  numerous verified social media accounts have also been used to spread rumours surrounding this case, agencies alleged, as per sources. In order to spread rumours and create hatred, pictures of the deceased from another incident were also circulated in the guise of the Hatras victim, sources claimed.

The agency further said certain individuals conspired to provoke Hatras victim's family against the UP government, which has been exposed in several audiotapes. Some politicians as well as some journalists have been caught in these tapes.

One of the audiotapes purported that a journalist provoked the family against CM Yogi Adityanath and forced them to make a false statement against him. Investigative agencies will undertake a polygraph and narco test of the instigators as soon as the audio tape's forensic investigation report arrives.

The Hatras case concerns the death of a 19-year-old Dalit woman who was reported to have been brutally gangraped by four men in a field. The matter is currently being investigated by a three-member SIT, constituted by the state government amid increasing uproar by the Opposition.

However, on Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath had  recommended a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in the Hatras case. This comes amid the state's police citing the autopsy report to state that no rape had taken place.

Cracking down, UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday suspended five police officers including district's Police Superintendent (SP) Vikrant Vir, Commanding officer Ram Shabd, Inspector Dinesh Kumar Verma, Sub Inspector Jagveer Singh, and Head Constable Mahesh Pal based on the preliminary report submitted by the SIT on Friday - allegedly over the mid-night funeral.

All officers involved in the case will have to undertake narco and polygraph tests, as ordered by the Chief Minister.
