New Delhi: The Election Commission is expected to announce the polling date for the Bihar Assembly elections on Friday.

This is the first major election to be held in India amid COVID-19 pandemic.

The politically crucial Indian state will need to elect a 243-member assembly by Nov 29.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will fight for his fourth term as CM.

The key opposition to him will be jailed former state Chief Minister Lalu Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal.
