Mumbai/IBNS: Amid her showdown with Maharashtra's ruling dispensation Shiv Sena, Indian actress Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday termed a civic team's act of demolishing a part of her Manikarnika office as "fascism".

The fresh row was triggered after a team of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials reached Mumbai's Pali Hill and demolished the alleged illegal structures in her office.

Hitting back at the BMC, Kangana, who is returning to Mumbai from Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, tweeted, "There is no illegal construction in my house, also government has banned any demolitions in Covid till September 30, Bullywood watch now this is what Fascism looks like."

Kangana has already moved the Bombay High Court to stop the demolition though the civic officials have already left the spot.

The BMC had served a notice to Kangana a couple of days ago and asked the actress to furnish the document granting permission to build the concerned structure in her office.

Earlier the Queen actress termed the civic officials as "Babur Army".

"I am never wrong and my enemies prove again and again this is why my Mumbai is POK now," she tweeted.

The demolition act has been preceded by Kangana's criticism of Mumbai Police's handling of the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Locking horns with the ruling outfit, Kangana had stated she feared to live in Mumbai to only get attacked by Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut, who had said the actress must stay out of the state in that scenario.
