New Delhi/IBNS: Referring to the Line of Control (LoC) and Line of Actual Control (LAC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of India's 74th Independence Day on Saturday sent out a strong message to its belligerent neighbours Pakistan and China, during his national address from the Red Fort here.

In a low-key Independence Day celebration in the national capital amid the Covid-19 situation, Modi said, "Those who have tried to challenge the country's sovereignty, whether it is on the LAC or LOC, Indian soldiers have given them a befitting reply in the language they know."

The PM made the comment in the wake of Pakistan-based terrorist organisation's attack on Indian soldiers in Kashmir's Pulwama last year and the deadly clash between the country's soldiers with Chinese military personnel at the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh in June this year.

At least 20 Indian personnel were martyred in the first deadly border clash which took place between India and China in more than four decades' time.

Speaking at the Red Fort 10 days after the one-year anniversary of the scrapping of Articles 370 and 35A, which were used to give Jammu and Kashmir special status, Modi said the valley has witnessed a new developmental journey in the past 12 months.

Modi during his address touched upon the one of the most vital topic of the time, i.e. Covid-19 vaccine.

Though Russia has controversially announced the world's first anti-Covid vaccine already, Modi boasted of India's strength saying the scientists of his country are working hard to produce three vaccines to treat the deadly virus.

"Not one or two, three vaccines are at different levels of trial in our country. As soon as the scientists will give a green signal, the production of the vaccines will begin," the PM said besides paying tributes to the Coronavirus warriors on a day India witnessed a surge of over 65,000 infections in 36 states and union territories.

In a major and significant announcement on Saturday, Modi announced the launching of the National Digital Health Mission.

Modi said the project will provide a health ID card to all people in the country.

All information regarding an individual's health- pertaining to the medicines he was prescribed by doctors, when they were prescribed and all medical reports- will be available in the ID card.

"Today, we are launching the National Digital Health Mission. This will bring a new revolution in the health sector," the most popular leader of the country said.

Unfurling the tricolour on India's 74th Independence Day, Modi said "I am confident that India will realise this dream. I am confident of the abilities, confidence and potential of my fellow Indians. Once we decide to do something, we do not rest until we achieve that goal."

Calling for making India produce goods and services for the world, he said "Today, many big companies are turning towards India. We have to move forward with the mantra of 'Make for world' along with 'Make in India'", he said, adding that history was witness that once India resolved, India does.
