I was in love with Sushant, being victimised by his family: Rhea Chakraborty tells SC

New Delhi/IBNS: Late Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty on Tuesday told the Supreme Court that she was in love with the Bollywood star and now she has been victimised by his family, media reports said.

Rhea through her lawyer told the top court that she was "in love with Rajput and was traumatised after his death".

Shyam Dewan, the advocate of Bollywood actress Rhea, said his client is being framed in the case by Sushant's father.

Sushant was found hanging at his flat in Mumbai's Bandra on Jun 14.

In a First Information Report (FIR) filed by Sushant's father KK Singh with Bihar Police, he had alleged that Rhea had siphoned off Rs 15 crore from his son's account and other accounts of companies floated with his investments.

Following this, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a money laundering case last week over "suspicious transactions".

Rhea was questioned by the ED for hours in the alleged money-laundering case.

As per the request of Bihar government, the Centre has recommended a CBI inquiry into Sushant's death.
