Pune man sets internet on fire by wearing gold mask
Pune/Srinagar/UNI: A Pune resident has set Twitter on fire after he was seen wearing a mask made out of gold.
The mask is worth Rs 2.9 lakhs.
Wearing a face cover has become a new norm in India to fight COVID-19.
Taking a dig at a Pune resident who was seen wearing a golden mask worth Rs 2.9 lakhs, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah said this is what one does when one has more money than sense.
Shanker, from Pimpri-Chinchwad Pune has got a mask made of gold worth Rs 2.9 lakhs.
Taking to micro blogging site twitter Omar said “ This is what you do when you have more money than sense.”
He has also posted photograph of Shanker wearing mask on his twitter account.
Wearing masks made of cloth has been declared compulsory in majority states in the country to avoid spread of COVID-19 pandemic which has already claimed more than 18,600 lives.
