New Delhi: Weeks after a violent standoff between Indian and Chinese Army personnel at the Galwan Valley left 20 Indian soldiers killed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday reached Leh to review the situation.

This is a surprise visit made by the PM to Ladakh.

Tension between India and China has escalated in recent times.

The violent clash between the soldiers of both the nations on June 15 further escalated the tension.
