New video emerges showing Indian and Chinese soldiers clash at high altitude in Sikkim

New Delhi/IBNS: Days after the deadly face-off at Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh, a new video has emerged showing Indian and Chinese officers clashing at a high-altitude area in Sikkim.

In the mobile phone video widely circulated in news media, it could be seen that a Chinese officer is punched by an Indian jawan during a brawl between soldiers of both sides.

Soldiers from both sides could be heard saying 'Go back' and 'Don't fight' amidst the tussle during the 5-minute-long video.

There seemed to happen a physical fight between the soldiers in the higher altitudes of Sikkim.

However, it is not clear when the video of the fight had been shot.

On June 15, at least 20 Indian personnel were killed in the conflict with the Chinese military at the Galwan Valley, which is close to Aksai Chin, an area that is controlled by China but claimed by both the countries.

Meanwhile, India and China earlier in the day held military talks at Corps Commander-level for the first time at Moldo Border Personnel Meeting point on the Chinese side to resolve the ongoing standoff in the eastern Ladakh region.

Prior to this, both the countries had held three rounds of military talks at Major General-level after the violent face-off in the Galwan Valley on Jun 15.
