
No plan for another lockdown in Delhi, assures Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that there are no plans of another lockdown in the city.
Taking to twitter he said , "Many people are speculating whether another lockdown in Delhi in being planned. There are no such plans."
There were speculations over extending lockdown and making the present rules stricter in view of the soaring contagion cases in the city.
The city, with over 41 k cases, is at number three across the nation in terms of highest number of infections.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah held an all-party meeting of Delhi with Congress , BJP , AAP and BSP's Delhi unit leaders and other officials to discuss the situation and their suggestions to tackle and manage the prevailing atmosphere.
Earlier, on Sunday, Mr Shah and Union health minister held two review meetings back to back with the Delhi CM , LG , DDMA officials , AIIMS director and Mayors along with Municipal Commissioners to chalk out strategies and plans in view of making the capital Covid-free.
