Jammu and Kashmir: Security force launch CASO in Anantnag

Ananatnag/UNI: Security forces on Saturday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in a village in this south Kashmir district, official sources said.

They said on a tip off about the presence of militants, troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation at Matipora Nainal in Anantnag today.

All exit points were sealed and house to house searches launched, they said adding so far no contact was established with militants.
