Narendra Modi supports all who are toiling amid COVID-19 crisis

New Delhi/IBNS: In a series of tweets, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday supported and encouraged all who are tirelessly working amid the critical situation caused by Coronavirus pandemic.

Supporting the Indian Railways, Modi tweeted, "Proud of the Indian Railways team. They’ve been continuously helping our citizens in this crucial hour."

Retweeting a post where India's Tricolour was seen projected on Matterhorn Mountain Switzerland with a sense of hope, Modi said, "The world is fighting COVID-19 together. Humanity will surely overcome this pandemic."

Thanking the airline sector for providing assistance to all who are in need, Modi said, "Ensuring all possible assistance to those who need it."

"Committed to helping our dynamic small and medium businesses," the Prime Minister said thanking the Income Tax department.

In reply to a tweet by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Modi said, "Kudos to all those working round the clock, across the nation, to ensure India’s energy needs are met."

As the total Coronavirus cases are surging, India is going through the second phase of lockdown which will end on May 3.

Post Apr 20, some relaxations will be provided by the Centre amid the lockdown which was initally called for 21 days.
