New Delhi/IBNS: Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Wednesday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government over the ongoing violence in New Delhi and said the world community must 'act now'.

"Today in India we are seeing the Nazi-inspired RSS ideology take over a nuclear-armed state of over a billion people. Whenever a racist ideology based on hatred takes over, it leads to bloodshed," Khan tweeted.

"As I had predicted in my address to UN GA last yr, once the genie is out of the bottle the bloodshed will get worse. IOJK was the beginning. Now 200 million Muslims in India are being targeted. The world community must act now," he said.

Interestingly, Khan warned that anyone targeting minorities in the country would be dealt with strictly.

"I want to warn our people that anyone in Pakistan targeting our non-Muslim citizens or their places of worship will be dealt with strictly. Our minorities are equal citizens of this country," he said.

However, several incidents of forced abduction, conversion and marriage of girls belonging to the minority communities have been reported from Pakistan in recent times.

India's New Delhi is witnessing violent protests and clashes over the new citizenship law which was passed by PM Narendra Modi-led government last year.

The recent clashes claimed 21 lives so far.

The clashes and attacks left 189 people injured.
