Patna/IBNS: Breaking his silence after he was sacked by Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar, poll strategist Prashant Kishor on Tuesday said it was Kumar's prerogative to decide whether to keep him in the party or not.

Addressing a press conference here, Kishor said, "Nitish ji always treats me like a son. He took me in the party. It is his prerogative to keep me in JD(U) or not."

Also Kishor said he had a discussion with Bihar Chief Minister Kumar regarding the JD(U)'s alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Hitting out at Kumar, he said, "The question to him (Nitish Kumar) is how can Gandhi and Godse can go hand in hand?"

Kishor was expelled from the party after he had openly criticised Kumar on a number of issues including CAA-NRC.
