New Delhi, Jan 28 (UNI) Shortly after the arrest of Shaheen Bagh stir suspect mastermind Sharjeel Imam was arrested in Bihar, the BJP on Tuesday lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stating the appeasement politics has left its adverse fallout on the capital.

"Mr Kejriwal, people are able to see everything clearly. Your appeasement politics has left adverse impact on Delhi," BJP national president J P Nadda tweeted.

"Aap ki tushti karan ki rajniti Delhi jala rahi hae".

Mr Nadda also maintained that earlier AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh have said that they stood by the Shaheen Bagh protestors.

Another AAP leader Amanatullah Khan has been found 'standing alongside' Sharjeel Imam and 'encouraging' him, Mr Nadda said.

Shaheen Bagh protest has emerged as a big political issue for fast approaching February 8 Delhi polls.

On Monday, Union Law Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad had said that: "Shaheen Bagh is emerging as a textbook case of a few hundred people seeking to suppress the peaceful majority".
