Kolkata/UNI/IBNS: On the occasion of  Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's 124th birth anniversary, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday paid floral tributes at Netaji's statue and underscored the need to be motivated by his bravery, courage and patriotic zeal.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Mr Dhankhar wrote: "Paid floral tribute to one of the greatest sons of Bharat- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary at the base of the Netaji Statue at Red Road at 10.45 am. Let all gear up to his 125th[124th] birth anniversary celebrations in 2022 befitting his stature

In another tweet, Mr Dhankhar said, "On Netaji’s birth anniversary we need to be motivated by his bravery, courage and patriotic zeal."

"I bow to proud son of India. His organisation and leadership skills were exceptional. He was phenomenal personality, for whom good of the Nation was paramount, " the Governor added.

Earlier in the day, Mr Dhankhar tweeted, "Would be paying floral tribute to one of the greatest sons of Bharat- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary at the base of the Netaji Statue at Red Road at 10.45 am."

"Let all gear up to his 125th [124th] birth anniversary celebrations in 2022 befitting his stature," he stated.
