Ranchi/UNI: Governor Draupadi Murmu will administer the oath to JMM's legislature wing leader Hemant Soren as the 11th Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Sunday.

In a mega function to be held at the Morhabadi Grounds Hemant will take oath as the Chief Minister of the state. Apart from him one cabinet minister each from Congress and JMM quota will be also taking oath with him.

From the Congress its state unit president and first time MLA Dr Rameshwar Oraon will be taking oath as the cabinet minister of state whereas from JMM Professor Stephen Marandi will be administered the oath of cabinet minister.

The other ranks in the cabinet will be either filled in the first week of the new year or after the celebrations of Makar Sankranti which falls on January 14 as the day marks the end of the month of 'kahramas' in which people refrain from performing auspicious tasks.

As per the cabinet berth sharing formula agreed by the allies JMM, Congress and RJD which constitute the Mahagathbandhan in the state JMM is to get 6 cabinet berths including the post of the Chief Minister, Congress party will get 5 berth and RJD 1.

In the 81 member Jharkhand Assembly there is provision of only 12 cabinet posts including that of the Chief Minister.

The Mahagathbandhan had swept into power by winning jointly 47 seats including 30 for JMM, 16 for Congress and 1 for RJD which is six more than the majority figure of 41 needed in state.
