Bihar: Police arrest two for raping a minor, making video of crime public

Bhabhua, Nov 25 (UNI) Police have arrested two outlaws on a charge of gang-raping a minor nearly a fortnight ago and making the video of crime public yesterday under Mohania police station area in Kaimurdistrict.

Police Superintendent Dilnawaz Ahmed said here today that an FIR was registered against four accused on the statement of a rape victim after the video of crime had gone viral yesterday.

He said that two accused of the case had already been arrested and they were being interrogated adding that two other accused would also be nabbed soon.

Meanwhile, two groups indulged in violent clash after the video of crime became viral. An unruly mob torched four shops and also set aflame various vehicles in the locality.

Kaimur district magistrate Nawal Kishore Chaudhary rushed to the spot and was appealing people to maintain peace.
