5800 numbers WY tablet worth Rs 17.40 lakh seized in Manipur’s Moreh

Guwahati, Sep 21  (IBNS): Manipur police have seized huge quantity of contraband drugs worth Rs 17.40 lakh and arrested a youth in Manipur’s Moreh town.

According to the reports, based on intelligence input, a team of Manipur police launched operation at Khudebgthabi area near Moreh town along Indo-Myanmar border and arrested a youth named Onkhosel Mate, who carried about 5800 numbers WY tablet from Myanmar.

The WY tablets were packed in 29 plastic pouches.

Police also seized a Myanmar bike in possession from him.
