After taking oath, Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy enters his chamber for first time

Amaravati, June 8 (UNI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy entered into his chamber on Saturday, located in the first block in Secretariat, for the first time, after taking oath on May 30.

Reddy entered the CM's chamber at the auspicious time of 8:39 am amid priests reciting hymns and mantras.

After occupying his Chief Minister seat in the office, he made first signature on three documents----hiking the salary of Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) to Rs.10,000, approving the construction of Anantapur-Amaravati express highway and on the Journalist’s comprehensive health insurance scheme.

Chief Secretary L V Subramanayam and Adviser to the government Ajay Kallam were present on the occasion.

Later, the priest blessed him and presented the image of goddess Kanakadurga.

Subramanyam and DGP Gautham D Sawang offered sweets to the Chief Minister.

Reddy also offered sweets to them.

Earlier the Chief Minister broke coconut and performed pooja to the portraits of Hindu deities in the premises.

Large number of YSRCP leaders, including MP V Vijay Sai Reddy, Ummareddy Venkateswarulu, SV Subba Reddy and MPs, MLAs the Chief Minister by handing over flower bouquets.

The Secretariat staff also wished the Chief Minister on the occasion.
