Abu Dhabi, May 31 (IBNS): On a day when Narendra Modi took oath as the PM of India for a second term, the iconic ADNOC group tower in Abu Dhabi was lit up with flags of India and the UAE and BJP strongman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to mark the occasion.

India described it as an 'extraordinary gesture'.

"An extraordinary gesture! UAE government lit up the iconic ADNOC building in #AbuDhabi on the occasion of the swearing-in ceremony of PM @narendramodi and Council of Ministers.@IndembAbuDhabi @navdeepsuri," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

Modi on Thursday took oath as the PM of India for a second consecutive term.

Under his leadership, the BJP-led NDA scripted a massive victory in the recently held Lok Saba polls.
