Manipur : Security forces arrest four drug peddlers

Guwahati, May 30 (IBNS): The security forces have recovered huge quantity of illegal drugs and arrested four drug peddlers in Manipur.

Kakching district police commando had arrested four drug peddlers from Sugnu bazar on Wednesday and 6060 pieces of contraband drugs WY tablets had recovered from them.

The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Kikim Kilong (36), W/o Ngamlun Kilong of Moulthang village, Saitu Gamphazol sub division, Kangpokpi district, Ngakthianngaii (46),  W/o Thawngzasuana, of 59 Selam, Venglai, Mizoram, Thianpiakhoih (36), W/o Minpao of Tangmual village, Churachandpur district and driver of the vehicle Thangpi, (25), S/o Kamang of D, Leikot.

It is said that the peddlers were arrested while they were trying to transport the contraband drugs WY tablets to Churachandpur from Moreh in a van.
