Bhopal, May 24 (UNI/IBNS): Rajya Sabha member and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh said on Friday that the Bharatiya Janata Party was still unable to stomach the fact that a Congress dispensation was in power in the state.

“Crores are being offered in attempts to lure our legislators in whom we repose unalloyed confidence as is the case vis-a-vis two MLAs of the Bahujan Samaj Party, one owing allegiance to the Samajwadi Party and four Independents extending support to the government,” he told reporters here.

This comes a day after the Congress leaders lost to controversial BJP candidate Pragya Singh Thakur from the Bhopal Lok Sabha seat.

The BJP had come under criticism for fielding Thakur, who calls herself Sadhvi Pragya, because she is an assessed in the Malegaon blasts case.
