Governor greets winning candidates of Lok Sabha polls from J&K

Srinagar, May 24 (UNI) Governor Satya Pal Malik on Friday congratulated all the winning candidates of the Lok Sabha elections from Jammu and Kashmir.

Extending his heartfelt greetings, the Governor hoped that all of them will strive for strengthening democratic values and institutions at grassroots level, promote public welfare and work for holistic development of the state.

The Governor wished them a successful term as Members of Parliament.

The result of Lok Sabha elections were declared on Thursday across the country, including in the six seats of J&K. National Conference (NC) bagged all the three parliamentary seats in Kashmir valley, while BJP won two seats of Jammu and one Ladakh seat.
