Patna, May 16 (IBNS): Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday said he party was ok with no getting the PM's post because it's primary objective was not to let the NDA remain in power.

Speaking to reporters in the Bihar capital, he said: "If a consensus is made in favour of the Congress then we will take the leadership role. Otherwise, our main goal is to ensure the NDA does not return to power."

BJP leader Rajnath Singh had recently said if the Opposition was so convinced they were going to win, they should  declare their PM candidate.

The BJP has been attacking the Grand Alliance of Opposition parties saying there is no consensus among them on who among them would be Prime Minister if they won.
