Congress moves to EC over airing Modi's Madison Square Garden speech
Mumbai, Oct 13 (IBNS): The Congress complained to the Election Commission over airing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Marathi channels had telecast Modi's half-hour Madison Square Garden speech in their primetime slots on Sunday.
Some channels are also expected to telecast the speech on Monday, on the last day of campaigning for the state Assembly polls.
“PM Modi went to the US as a representative of India. To use that to win votes in a state election is not correct,” Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was quoted saying on Monday.
