Puducherry: Teacher held for sexually assaulting his students, staff

Puducherry,Mar 31 (UNI) Puducherry CB CID police registered a case against a government school teacher at Keezhoor village near villianur here for sexually assaulting his female students and staff.

According to police, "The first instance of him harassing students and teachers surfaced recently, after which some social organisations of the area lodged a complaint with the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) which in turn conducted an inquiry into the matter."

Since, it was proven that the charge against the teacher is true, the CWC lodged a complaint with DGP Sundari Nanda.

The name of the teacher was not disclosed.
